Goldman Sachs Group (GS), Morgan Stanley (MS), UBS Group (UBS), and HSBC Holdings (HSBC) executives are expected to attend a financial conference in Hong Kong in early November, among others, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority-organized annual gathering precedes scheduled talks between US and Chinese leaders in Shenzhen aimed at reaching a long-term trade deal, the news outlet quoted the people as saying.
The event at the Four Seasons Hotel will have panels and speeches by financial leaders on macroeconomics, geopolitical issues, and artificial intelligence, with an asset manager focus on Nov. 4, and the full speaker list is subject to change, Bloomberg reported, citing the people.
Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, UBS, and HSBC did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
