Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) said reverse circulation and diamond core drilling at the Two Mile Hill-Shillington deposit, part of the Sandstone gold project in Western Australia, encountered broad intervals of mineralised tonalite, with visible gold observed throughout significant intersections, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

It hit intercepts of 225.7 meters at 3.11 grams per tonne grade of gold from 284 meters, as well as 194 meters at 2.10 g/t grade of gold from 286 meters.

Its shares rose 6% in recent trading on Thursday.
