Major Holdings names Mr. Siu Shing Tak as Lead Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 26 Feb 2026

Major Holdings Limited has designated current independent non-executive director (INED) Mr. Siu Shing Tak as Lead Independent Non-Executive Director, with the appointment taking effect on 26 February 2026.

Mr. Siu presently serves as chairman of the Audit Committee and sits on both the Nomination and Remuneration Committees. According to the board, the new role aims to enhance independent oversight and facilitate communication among INEDs, between INEDs and the full board, and with shareholders—particularly minority investors.

The designation aligns with the amended Corporate Governance Code in Appendix C1 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules, which becomes effective on 1 July 2025. The board expects the Lead INED framework to strengthen board effectiveness, bolster diversity and reinforce overall corporate governance practices.

As of the announcement date, the board comprises one executive director, Mr. Cheung Chun To (Chairman), and three INEDs: Mr. Yue Kwai Wa Ken, Ms. Li Bo and Mr. Siu Shing Tak.
