Chinese brokerage stocks experienced a sharp rally during the morning trading session.
As of the latest update, CICC (03908) jumped 7.57% to HK$22.16, while CITIC SEC (06030) advanced 5.93% to HK$27.52.
Other notable gainers included China Merchants Securities (06099), which rose 5.23% to HK$15.50, and CSC Financial (06066), which gained 4.70% to HK$12.04.
