To further strengthen the company's compliance management framework, reinforce compliance responsibilities at every tier, mitigate operational risks across business and management activities, and drive continuous improvement in corporate governance, CHALIECO organized a specialized compliance training session on August 25.

The training focused on key areas and critical junctures of business operations, covering nine major segments: safety and environmental protection, marketing, tendering and procurement, project delivery, commercial management, migrant worker administration, overseas operations, treasury management, and legal compliance. Guided by compliance requirements and negative lists, the session delved into prominent risk points using real-world case studies, offering detailed explanations of regulatory prohibitions and compliance red lines. It clearly outlined violations, their consequences, and control measures, using cases to illustrate rules and discipline, while emphasizing compliance duties across all levels and roles to firmly establish the principle that "managing business entails managing compliance."

Moving forward, the company will push for extended training at the subsidiary level to cover all sub-companies and project teams, deepening compliance culture. Compliance management will be woven into the full lifecycle of projects and contracts. Leveraging the operational system development initiative, the company aims to govern compliance and control risks through streamlined processes, ensuring stringent execution and tangible outcomes, safeguarding state-owned assets, and supporting high-quality corporate growth.

The training reached all subsidiaries across the company, with a total of 1,483 participants attending.
