TUHU-W climbs 4.82% at close as interim results show resilience; CICC keeps outperform rating

Shares of TUHU-W (09690) advanced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on August 26, closing at HK$11.95, up 4.82% from the previous trading day, with full-day turnover reaching HK$57.62 million.

Prior to the move, Tuhu Car Inc. released its interim results for the 2026 fiscal year. During the first half, the company generated total revenue of RMB 8.78 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 11.4%. Despite the ongoing industry adjustment phase, the company sustained double-digit revenue growth.

On the store network front, as of the end of June, the number of Tuhu's global workshop locations reached 8,825, with a net addition of 817 stores during the first half, reflecting a year-on-year expansion of approximately 22.5%. Registered users climbed to 175 million, while transaction users over the past 12 months hit 31 million, up 17.2% year on year.

In a research note published on August 24, CICC maintained its "outperform industry" rating on TUHU-W. The brokerage believes that continuous store network expansion will support further market share gains, while improvements in operational efficiency are likely to drive further optimization of expense ratios. CICC also holds a positive view on the company's growth prospects in new energy vehicles and fast-repair services.

Additionally, several other financial institutions, including Haitong International, Huatai Securities, and CMB International, have all assigned "buy" ratings to TUHU-W, expressing confidence in the company's long-term growth trajectory.
